The arrester (1) has a layer made of open-porous electrode material (3), where liquid is vertically transported from a surface through the open-porous electrode material. An electrolyte is transported into a battery through the liquid. An open-porous separator membrane is imprinted over the open-porous electrode material. A coating or printing roller (2) is made of two-dimensional fabric, where the arrester is made of gold-plated wire or conductive carbon fiber. The electrode material is dried by an in-line micro wave drying process or high frequency drying process. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for creating an electrode (2) a method for drying an electrode.
