The vehicle (1) has a battery (2) i.e. high voltage battery, comprising single cells and/or cell groups, where one of the single cells and/or the cell groups is brought together by a bus bar (3) in the battery. The battery is arranged such that the battery is parallel to an alignment of the vehicle such as parallel to longitudinal, transverse or vertical axis of the vehicle. Two opposite peripheral surfaces (4.1-4.4) of the battery are arranged at respective predetermined minimum distances (a1-a4). The bus bar is arranged in a middle area of the battery.
