The connector has support surfaces (12) for supporting the connector on terminals (21) of battery cells (20) i.e. lithium-ion-battery cells. The support surfaces are arranged one behind the other in a longitudinal extension direction of the connector and connected to a side of the connector, where the connector has lateral offset between the support surfaces such that the support surfaces are arranged laterally offset to each other. The lateral offset is caused by a bending of the connector, where thickness of the connector corresponds to the measure of the lateral offset. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a battery cell module (2) a method for manufacturing a battery cell module.
