The arrangement (14) has a pulley (16) for driving auxiliary units, and planetary gears (18) comprising ring gears (22) for transmission of torque of a drive shaft (12) i.e. crankshaft, of a combustion engine of a motor car to the pulley. A ring gear brake (24) i.e. reversible freewheel (20), brakes the ring gears. A wrapping spring clutch is inserted between the ring gear brake and the ring gears, and comprises a wrapping tape that partially encircles the ring gears. The wrapping spring clutch is connected with an intermediate flange that is braked by the ring gear brake. The auxiliary units are selected from a group consisting of a fuel pump, engine oil pump and/or alternator. An independent claim is also included for a powertrain for a combustion engine of a motor car.
