The arrangement performs automatic account assignment with a uniform scheme of accounts by a supplier. Billing account of the supplier is removed from a database. Invoices are shipped via secure electronic mails and forwarded to accountants. All relevant data for the billing account are automatically read from the invoices and acquired by using document format templates. The invoices are created by trade barcodes. Data format information in the invoices is provided in the templates. Vendor account and customer account are automatically determined from address of the supplier or a customer.
