The method involves lowering foundation (4) upto height such that up and down movements are produced in waves without disturbing current beneath the foundation, where the foundation stirs up a sea floor. The foundation is settled on bottom of sea (2) by joggle devices supported on the bottom of the sea. The joggle devices are slowly lowered to an end position of the foundation to be reached. A part of the foundation is unchanged and used for readjustments of a wind turbine. An independent claim is also included for a joggle device.
