The data connection arrangement has a transmitter unit (S) that is arranged in a detector unit (D) and a receiving unit (E) which is integrated with the transmitter unit in the housing of an X-ray source (RQ). The transmitter unit is integrated with a direction antenna (RE) in the detector unit. The directional antenna has a cone-shaped directional pattern with an opening angle of 90 degree. The transmitter unit and the receiving unit are formed with units of ultra-wideband communication.
