The device e.g. cable clip (1), has a bridge (4) associated with a holding fixture (9) in a closed position and movably arranged at a base body (3) by clamping an elongated element (2). The elongated element is formed between an elastic or pressing element and a bottom (9.1) of the holding fixture. A locking unit releasably locks the bridge in the closed position. A detent surface is provided in a recess of the base body by the locking unit in the closed position. The detect surface is provided with a mating surface in the recess.
