The device e.g. Mongolian barbeque, has a rod (3) fixed to a retainer (2) such that the rod is rotated around a longitudinal axis. A firing-sided end section (4) i.e. sleeve, of the rod is removed and coated with dough and rotated at the rod over a firing place in a determined condition. A firing point includes two shells (8, 9), and a gas burner (10) is arranged in a center point of one of the shells, where another shell is adjusted in the former shell. The latter shell includes an opening for passage of gas flame of a gas chamber, and the retainer includes a recess (12).
