The device (3) has a support body (1) for supporting an articular glenoid component (2) and extended inside a vertical bone vault (V) of a cavity (G). The body includes three support arms (6) on an internal face (V4) of a peripheral wall (V3) of the bone vault. The support arms define free passages with respect to each other around the body when the arms are support on the internal face of the wall. The free passages run over an exterior face of the body, where the body and one of the arms are formed from a single piece. An independent claim is also included for a shoulder prosthesis comprising an articular glenoid component.
