The converter (300) has two sets of capacitors (C1-C3, C1'-C3') connected respectively between two sets of switches (301-303, 301'-303') and two inputs of a comparator (101). One of the capacitors of one set receives a component (Vinp) of a differential input signal, and one of the capacitors of another set receives another component (Vinn) of the signal. Each of the switches independently connects one capacitor to one of three supply voltage levels (Vtop, Vbot, Vc). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an analog to digital conversion module comprising an output register (2) a method for realizing a successive approximation differential analog to digital converter.
