Use of exogenous testosterone (I) as neoadjuvant and/or adjuvant in a patient of androgenic deficit for treating the patient with localized prostate cancer, respectively before or after surgical or medical treatment of the patient, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a pharmaceutical composition based on testosterone to be administered as a neoadjuvant and/or adjuvant in a patient of androgen deficiency suffering from localized prostate cancer.
