Tube working device comprising a flange (5) internally hollowed out with plates (13A, 13B, 13C) assembled together pivotally, to a closed position where these plates are joined together in a ring, and a locking device flange. The adjacent ends of two plates have homologous surfaces forming a shape-cooperation connection, which connection is active in the vicinity of the closed position of the flange (5). Each connection by shape cooperation comprises two complementary surfaces (37) coming into mutual contact in the closed position of the flange. The locking device comprises at least one lock, operable in this position, which acts on the adjacent ends of the plates to clamp their complementary contact surfaces against each other.
