The method involves regulating a flow of a set of streams of water from a set of compartments (2, 14), and mixing one of the streams of water at specific temperature with the other stream of water having desired temperature. The mixture of the two streams of water is conveyed to an outlet of a control module for supplying hot water from a mixing tap. The two streams of water are mixed at a draw-off state during opening of the tap. An independent claim is also included for a control device for immediate or quasi-immediate obtaining of hot water during opening of a tap of a hot water supply system.
