The structure has a front body pillar (2) and an intermediate girder (3) extending on lateral sides of an understructure (1) along a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. A lower girder (9) and an upper girder (8) extend below and above the intermediate girder respectively. Front ends of the girders are connected together, where rear ends of the intermediate girder and the lower girder are connected to the understructure. A rear end of the upper girder is connected to an upper portion (2a) of the front body pillar. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
