PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device capable of intelligibly indicating a learning level of a performance when playing a virtual musical instrument performance.;SOLUTION: A musical sound generating device 1 includes: a stick part 10 that can be held by a player; a sound production control part 311 that instructs production of a prescribed musical sound whenever the player performs a performance operation using the stick part 10; a camera unit part 20 that detects a state of each performance operation whenever the performance operation is made; a variation detecting part 312 that detects a variation degree of the state of each performance operation detected by the camera unit part 20; a learning level determination part 313 that determines a learning level of the performance operation of the player on the basis of the detection result by the variation detecting part 312; and a display device 351 that notifies the player of the determination result by the learning level determination part 313.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
