PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material sheet which suits characteristics of myocardial cells and connective tissue in actual myocardial tissue.SOLUTION: A composite material sheet for supporting at least a part of a heart comprises a single-layer material or a layered material of thin plates each of which is formed of a composite material including reinforcement fiber and a substrate. The Young's modulus of the reinforcement fiber is more than 100 times as much as the Young's modulus of the substrate. The composite material is formed of at least two types of physically different raw materials. The composite material exhibits properties superior to its individual raw materials or properties not shared by the individual raw materials.
