PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for adjusting amplitude of a tamping beam of a road finishing device that allows its amplitude to be adjusted easily.;SOLUTION: A method and device for adjusting amplitude of a tamping beam of a road finishing device is disclosed. In the method and device, the tamping beam is vertically vibrated while oscillated, between a top dead point and a bottom dead point, by means of a drive member. In the present invention, the top dead point can be displaced, whereas the bottom dead point is maintained constant. For this purpose, a drive member that acts in the direction of the bottom dead point is released from a drive member that acts in the direction of the top dead point, and thus the stroke a cam shaft is maintained constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
