PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-strength composite nanofiber assembly capable of producing a composite nanofiber assembly having higher mechanical strength than that of a conventional composite nanofiber assembly.SOLUTION: The method for producing the high-strength composite nanofiber assembly comprises: a first step S1 of producing a composite nanofiber assembly containing a first nanofiber formed of a first polymer having a first melting point and a second nanofiber formed of a second polymer having a second melting point that is lower than the first melting point; and a second step S2 of heating the composite nanofiber assembly to a temperature lower than the first melting point and higher than the second melting point to produce the high-strength composite nanofiber assembly having a structure in which the first nanofibers are partially bonded to each other by the second polymer, in this order.
