PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide diagnostic and therapeutic methods and compositions useful in management of various cancers that express 24P4C12, particularly prostate cancers.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a polynucleotide consisting of a plurality of specific sequences, or a polynucleotide encoding 24P4C12 polypeptide, wherein the polypeptide sequence is encoded by the cDNA contained in a plasmid designated as p24P4C12-GTE5 or p24P4C12- GTE9 deposited with American Type Culture Collection as Designation Nos. 207129 and 207084, respectively.
