PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of estimating an amount of emission from a vehicle having a combustion engine.SOLUTION: A system includes a first processor group 1 dedicated for execution of calculation of chemical reaction kinetics to obtain the amount of compounds produced by chemical reaction in an engine under a given reaction scheme and thermodynamic conditions of the engine, and a second processor group 2 dedicated for execution of calculation of the amount of pollutant emission on the basis of the calculated amount of compounds. The calculations by the first and the second processor groups 1 and 2 are simultaneously performed. The first processor group 1 includes a comprehensive supervisor processor 4 and at least one processor group 5. The comprehensive supervisor 4 can store data necessary for the calculations and distribute the calculations to the available processor group 5.
