PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal efficiency improvement method of a heat treatment furnace and the heat treatment furnace for reducing heat flowed out from an exhaust port by changing sensible heat of a gas exhausted from the exhaust port into radiation heat in the exhaust port to take the same into the furnace.;SOLUTION: The thermal efficiency improvement method of the heat treatment furnace 10 discharging heated gas from the exhaust port 12 to the outside, arranges plate-like heat resistant members 13, 14 along flow of the gas passing through the exhaust port 12, in the inlet side of the exhaust port 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
