PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a program which allow input of a direction important to conduct an orchestra.SOLUTION: An orchestra conducting game device includes: a means for displaying an orchestra image and a musical performance image consisting of a time scale image TS, on a display; a memory for storing a direction mark set in which a large number of direction marks CS representing the "movement" of a baton which is to be input through a touch panel, are stored in such a manner that a contact state of a player's finger is directed with patterns over time; a means for reading the direction mark set corresponding to a music reproduced by a music reproduction means, and movably displaying the direction marks CS on the time scale image TS; a means for analyzing the patterns of "movement" which are input over time with timing when the direction marks pass a reference position; a means for comparing the analysis result of the pattern of "movement" with a reference value of the direction mark, and evaluating a shift between the analysis result and the reference value; and a means for controlling a music performance parameter reproduced from the music reproduction means to vary with time, according to the shift between the analysis result and the reference value.
