PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton-conducting compound which has high protonic conductivity, heat resistance and excellent durability in a compatible manner, a molded product with the compound being formed therein, and a proton exchange membrane for fuel cell.SOLUTION: A proton-conducting compound has a molecular structure represented by general formula (I). (In the formula, Rrepresents linear or branched alkyl, each of X, Y represents at least one bond or group selected from the group consisting of carbonyl, oxygen atom, sulfur atom and sulfonyl, n, that is repeating number, represents an integer of 1-15, and Ar is a structure including an aromatic group or a hetero ring and having sulfonic group or phosphonic group as a proton exchange group).
