PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when using an auxiliary brush in order to suppress rectification sparks of a compact commutator electric motor, if the auxiliary brush is installed in the same direction as a main brush, an interval between installation positions of the main brush and the auxiliary brush in an axial direction is narrow and it is difficult to use a conventional brush holder for the main brush as it is.;SOLUTION: In a commutator electric motor including an auxiliary brush, the auxiliary brush is provided in a forward moving direction with respect to a rotating direction of a commutator. When a point where a centerline of a main brush and the commutator contact are contacted is defined as (a), a point where a centerline of the auxiliary brush and the commutator contact are contacted is defined as (b) and a center point of the commutator is defined as (c), if an angle ∠acb formed by a line ac and a line cb is θ1, an angle θ2 formed from the centerline of the main brush and the centerline of the auxiliary line becomes θ2θ1, thereby fixing a brush holder for the auxiliary brush in a place different from a brush holder fixing part for the main brush.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
