PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery-gas turbine combined power generation system and a method for shutting down the fuel battery.SOLUTION: The fuel battery-gas turbine combined power generation system comprises: an exhaust air passage Lwhich has interposed in between an automatic valve 22 for supplying exhaust air 18B discharged from a SOFC 13 to a combustor 16; a branch exhaust air passage L, branched from the exhaust air passage L, which has interposed in between an automatic valve 63 and a first orifice 81 for discharging the exhaust air 18B to the outside; an exhaust fuel gas passage Lwhich has interposed in between an automatic valve 32 for supplying exhaust fuel gas 31A discharged from a fuel electrode side to a gas turbine combustor 16; a branch exhaust fuel gas passage L, branched from the exhaust fuel gas passage L, which has interposed in between an automatic valve 53 and a second orifice 82; purge gas supply means 71 which supplies purge gas 70 introduced in between a fuel gas passage Land an automatic valve 35 and the SOFC; and a confluence part 85 in which the branch exhaust fuel gas passage Ljoins in between a normally open automatic valve 63 of the branch exhaust air passage Land the first orifice 81.
