PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which contributes to convenience of a user using a stereoscopic image photographing device by reducing current consumption in photographing a stereoscopic image by the stereoscopic image photographing device.;SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image photographing control method according to the present invention is a stereoscopic image photographing control method executed by a stereoscopic image photographing device comprising a first photographing part and a second photographing part, each of which including a lens and an image pickup element.
