PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective fixing agent which can facilitate the selective decomposition of only halogenated aromatic compounds.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a porous cyclodextrin polymer, which comprises dispersing cyclodextrin in an organic solvent, adding dropwise an organic solvent containing an organic dibasic acid or an organic dibasic acid halide, agitating the reaction solution at a temperature of 50-100°C, adding dropwise to the reaction solution an alcohol, an aryl alcohol or a phenol, and esterifying the resultant reaction solution at a temperature of 0-10°C. Also provided is a selective fixing agent containing the porous cyclodextrin polymer and used for fixing halogenated aromatic compounds contained in an organic medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
