PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery positive electrode binder composition which offers an excellent binding force, and when used to form a secondary battery positive electrode, achieves excellent output characteristics while ensuring high-temperature cycle characteristics of the secondary battery.SOLUTION: The secondary battery positive electrode binder composition comprises a particulate polymer A including 5-40 mass% of an allyl cross-linkable monomer unit and 50-95 mass% of a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer unit.
