PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an illegal use of a card when the card is lost or stolen and an illegal use thereof by a store, and to prevent a simultaneously progressing illegal use of a plurality of cards.;SOLUTION: A store terminal transmits a settlement request data to a card company and transmits the same settlement request data to a mobile terminal of the customer. The settlement request data includes a card ID and transaction information (a commodity price, a purchase date and time, etc.), as well as the ID of the store terminal. The customer receives the settlement request data and checks its details and if the details are OK, transmits a settlement authorization to a mobile terminal company from the mobile terminal. A system in the mobile terminal company extracts a card ID which is previously registered by the customer and is associated with the mobile terminal after receiving the settlement authorization, and notifies it to a system in the card company by determining the notification destination of the system of the card company from the card ID.
