PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling weeds having the large-sized strains of genus Andropogon and genus Paspalum, which comprises subjecting the weeds containing the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum which are perennial gramineous weeds, to a physical weed control work using a machine, and then applying a herbicide, and by which the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum can accurately be controlled without giving a chemical damage to Japanese lawn grasses.;SOLUTION: This method for controlling the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum comprises cutting the weed stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum growing in the lawn of Japanese lawn grasses and the aboveground portions of the Japanese lawn grasses, and then applying a granular agent or small granular agent containing a herbicide as an active ingredient to the whole surface of the lawn to control the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
