PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial turf pavement structure which ensures suitable elasticity, has a simple structure, and contributes to reduction of construction costs, and also to provide a method of constructing the artificial turf pavement structure.;SOLUTION: The artificial turf pavement structure is a sheet body having artificial turf implanted therein. The artificial turf is made of a heated asphalt mixture, and granulated rubber mixed in asphalt as aggregate. The method of constructing the artificial turf pavement structure is composed of: a step of heating and drying a mixture of crushed stones and stone dust to a temperature of 200 to 250°C, and mixing the granulated rubber into the resultant mixture at room temperatures, to thereby obtain a composition for the artificial turf pavement structure; a leveling step of laying the composition for the artificial turf pavement structure and leveling the same; and a compaction step of rolling and compacting the leveled composition for the artificial turf pavement structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
