PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute immediately a "self-learning" function from the initial rotation of wheels of the vehicle in a monitoring system, without requiring a traveling speed threshold value.;SOLUTION: In this type of method of discriminating the rotating wheel from the not rotating wheel, during the drive of the vehicle, an electronic module is attached to the each wheel to transmit a signal expressing an operation parameter of the wheel to a central processing unit, the signal called as identification request signal is transmitted to the electronic module, and a command is issued to each electronic module, in response to the transmission, to transmit the signal including the parameter for identifying each module to the central processing unit. A reception level of the identification request signal is calculated simultaneously when the identification request signal is received by each electronic module, and the wheel is determined to be rotated when the reception level is within a 10%-90% of range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
