The guard has two electrical, electronic or mechanical components e.g. front light (31), control set (32), disk brake (33) and locking unit (34), that are interconnected with each other. The components are provided with a common identifier i.e. alpha numeric identifier, or individual identifier that is attached to each of the components, where the individual identifier is associated with a device identifier of a two-wheeled motor vehicle e.g. bicycle (1). The device identifier is stored on an external storage device of the vehicle. The identifiers are arranged in a bicycle computer (2). The alpha numeric identifier is varied via a radio frequency identification (RFID)-transponder.
