PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently proliferate epithelial cells including epithelial stem cells and epithelial cell precursors.;SOLUTION: The method for culturing epithelial cells uses a culture medium for culturing epithelial cells which comprises interleukin-1 receptor binding inhibitor that consists of interleukin-1 receptor antagonist and/or anti-interleukin-1 antibody.
