Radial magnetic bearing and polyphase current regulator equipped magnetic bearing device

The magnetic radial bearing has several electromagnets (1u-1w, 2u-2w) provided with the coils (L1u-L1w, L2u-L2w) including opposing coils connected to form the coil pairs. The terminals of each of the coil pair are connected in common to a corresponding phase of a three-phase controller to generate rotating three-phase field. The terminals of the coils of each coil pair associated with different phases are connected at corresponding star point that are connected to direct current (DC) supply (2) to generate the magnetic bias. An independent claim is included for magnetic bearing system.
