MAGNETIC RADIAL BEARING AND MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE WITH POLYPHASE AC REGULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact magnetic radial bearing provided with electromagnets (1U, 2U; 1V, 2V; 1W, 2W) arranged in the circumferential direction.;SOLUTION: The electromagnets (1U, 2U; 1V, 2V; 1W, 2W) have coils (L1U, L2U; L1V, L2V; L1W, L2W) to generate both magnetic biases and rotating polyphase fields. First half groups (L1U, L1V, L1W) and second half groups (L2U, L2V, L2W) of these coils are connected to neutral points (S1, S2). Both of the neutral points (S1, S2) are utilized to be connected to a DC power source (2) to excite the magnetic biases. Opposite side ends of the coils are utilized to be connected to a polyphase AC regulator (3) to excite the rotating fields.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
