PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an aqueous dispersion of a conductive polymer that can provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having high CR and low ESR.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a fluid dispersion for a solid electrolytic capacitor includes: a preparation stage of obtaining a mixed liquid obtained by mixing 1.0-2.0 mass% of fine particles of a water-soluble or slightly-water-soluble conductive polymer derived from a monomer having double bonds with 100 mass% of water including no organic polymer binder; and a dispersion process of irradiating the mixed liquid with an ultrasonic wave of 15-100 kHz in frequency.
