PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain sensor for minutely and correctly measuring a high-density strain distribution by, when organizing the strain sensor, using FBG optical fiber sensing technique using time multiplexing system for FBG multiplexing thereby to provide the sensor capable of attaining high-density arrangement in an FBG optical fiber type strain sensor.;SOLUTION: Multiple sensor main lines are prepared, where multiple FBGs are arranged on one optical fiber at a predetermined interval in each sensor main line. The multiple sensor main lines are aligned in parallel in the longitudinal direction, and the FBGs arranged on one of the sensor main lines and the FBGs arranged on any one of the sensor main lines adjacent to the FBGs are arranged at an arbitrary close interval.
