POSITIVE ELECTRODE CURRENT COLLECTOR FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY, POSITIVE ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POSITIVE ELECTRODE CURRENT COLLECTOR FOR LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode current collector for a lithium ion secondary battery which allows an extension of the battery life by preventing the current collector from eluting into an electrolytic solution thereby to suppress the increase in resistance at an interface of the current collector and the active material, and to provide a positive electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, and a method for manufacturing the positive electrode current collector for a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The positive electrode current collector for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises: an aluminum foil made of pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy; and a surface layer formed on one or each side of the aluminum foil. The surface layer comprises at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Ta, W, Mo, V, Cr and Nb. The surface of the surface layer is subjected to an oxidation treatment, and therefore at least the outermost surface of the surface layer is oxidized.
