PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a social network service providing system with which relations between mobile terminal users can be created, user terminals and a relation creating method.SOLUTION: A social network service providing system includes: a reception unit that receives information on the positions of user terminals, in response to a request for adding friend sent from a user terminal whose positional information is allowed to be provided; a user terminal confirmation unit that detects at least one other user terminal whose positional information is allowed to be provided, located within a distance predetermined according to the positional information of the user terminal from which the request has been sent; a user information transmission unit that confirms the user information of the detected user terminals and sends it to the user terminal from which the request has been sent; and a relation creation unit that creates a relation between the user terminal from which the request has been sent and other user terminals when the user information of the other user terminals are selected on the user terminal from which the request has been sent.
