PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily push a stator 12 into a cylindrical part 25 of a case member 15 from one side in an axial direction, when assembling a resolver comprising a rotor 13 mounted to a rotation shaft 11, the annular stator 12 provided outside the rotor 13 in a radial direction, and the case member 15 having the cylindrical part 25 fitted with the stator 12 from the one side in the axial direction.;SOLUTION: A stator 12 includes a stator core 42 having plural tooth parts 46 projecting from an annular part 45 inward in a radial direction and opposed to an outer periphery of the rotor 13, and an insulator 44 having a first portion 51 covering the stator core 42 from one side in the axial direction and a second portion 52 covering the other side in the axial direction.
