PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal slit material that can secure a predetermined slit width, is easily changeable in slit width, never comes out during concrete casting, and hardly forms an air bubble or a water pool on a lower-surface side, a construction method for a horizontal construction joint part using the same, and a structure of the horizontal construction joint part.;SOLUTION: The slit material comprises a slit material body 11 and a slit material support 12 which supports the slit material body 11. The slit material support 12 includes a tip part 121 which is mounted on a joint rod 22 fixed to an outer form 21, an upper-surface plate part 122 which connects with the tip part 121 and is provided at a position above an upper surface of the joint rod 22, an outer side plate part 123 which abuts against a side face of the joint rod 22, and an inner side plate part 124 which is provided on an inner form side opposite the outer plate part 123, and is in a channel shape having the bottom opened.
