PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavor maintaining agent and flavor maintaining method which realize high flexibility of quality design by utilizing original viscoelasticity of a chewing gum and can prevent a chewing gum containing a fruit component at high concentration from loosing flavor at an early stage during chewing, and fruit-containing chewing gum and fruit-containing multilayer chewing gum which have excellent long-term preservability, maintain chewing gum inherent texture and original flavor of fruit and gradually elute flavor of fruit when being chewed so as to maintain the flavor for a long term.;SOLUTION: In a flavor maintaining method for a fruit-containing chewing gum, a flavor maintaining agents for fruit-containing chewing gum which are formed of ground materials of a dry fruit, are dispersed in continuous phases of a chewing gum containing a gum base and sugar sweetener.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
