This invention provides a fall proof device which accurately prevent a misalignment correction device from falling down from a lower side erection piece of the misalignment correction device when an upwards external force is applied to the misalignment correction device. The misalignment correction device is adapted to be fixed onto one of a plurality of upper side erection pieces mounted on the upper end of a lower side steel member, and one of a plurality of lower side erection pieces mounted on the lower end of an upper steel member which is provided above the lower steel member. The fall proof device prevents the misalignment correction device from falling down from the lower side erection piece when misalignment correction device is hooked onto the lower side erection piece to lift up the upper side steel member before the misalignment correction device is fixed onto the upper side erection piece and the lower side erection piece. The fall proof device includes a blind hole provided in the lower side erection piece and a holding member to be inserted in the blind hole so as to hole the misalignment correction device in a rotatable configuration with respect to the lower side erection piece.
