PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably distribute advertisement placement resources in conformity with an intended effect among a plurality of media.SOLUTION: An advertisement placement resource optimization system 100 comprises: a storage part 101 which stores a function representing the relation between resources of advertisement placement associated with respective media and effects thereof, and correlation values indicative of degrees of overlapping of effects generated among media to place the advertisement placement objects; and an arithmetic part 104 which calculates suitable distribution of the resources to the respective media by solving an optimization function 127 for subtracting the total of values obtained by multiplying multiplication values of the effects among the media corresponding to predetermined resources by the correlation values among the media from the total of values of the function of the respective media to which the predetermined resources are distributed, the optimization function 127 corresponding to a calculation formula for a total effect over the plurality of media, with a predetermined program 110 of a nonlinear programming with given total resources defined as restriction conditions, so that the total effect becomes maximum.
