PSOLUTION: The lens polishing apparatus 1 is provided with a drawing type frame 3 drawable toward an apparatus frame 2. The drawing type frame 3 is installed with a drawing side mechanism part 5 including a tool shaft motor 53 for rotating a grinding tool 51 and a machining tool rocking mechanism 6 for rocking the grinding tool 51. When the drawing type frame 3 is drawn ahead from the apparatus frame 2, a working space can be ensured around the drawing side mechanism part 5 installed ON the drawing type frame 3. Accordingly, maintenance work of the drawing side mechanism part 5 can be implemented with high efficiency and the apparatus can be made compact as the securing of a working space within the lens polishing apparatus 1 is not necessary.
