PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the oscillation of a feed rod using a bar material steady rest, and to prevent an increase in cost and an occupation space of the device.;SOLUTION: The feed rod (21) that moves to push a bar material (B1) toward a main shaft (7) of a processing machine (2) is prepared. The bar material steady rest (50) including a first support (61A), and a second support (61B) is prepared. The feed rod (21) is arranged in the first support (61A) and the second support (61B).
