PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discrimination filter design method, a discrimination method, a discrimination filter set, a discrimination device and a program that enable quick and high-accuracy measurement and analysis for discriminating an evaluation object on the basis of a fluorescence characteristic.;SOLUTION: A discrimination filter design method in the invention includes the steps of: setting at least one or more combinations of an excitation wavelength band to be exposed and a fluorescence wavelength band to be observed; calculating fluorescence intensity to be obtained in the excitation wavelength band and the fluorescence wavelength band that are individually set as a measurement window, on the basis of such excitation-emission matrix information for the fluorescence intensity at each excitation wavelength and at each fluorescence wavelength that is preliminarily obtained in a wide wavelength range for multiple evaluation objects with known evaluation values; obtaining an estimating equation for obtaining an evaluation value, with setting the calculated fluorescence intensity and the evaluation value as variables; and obtaining an optimal estimating equation for obtaining the evaluation value of the evaluation object by repeatedly executing the processing while resetting the combination of the bands, and also determining the combination of the excitation wavelength band and the fluorescence wavelength band.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
