PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate measurements and analysis in short time so as to discriminate an evaluation target on the basis of fluorescence properties.;SOLUTION: A discrimination filter designing method comprises: setting at least one combination of an excitation wavelength band and a fluorescence wavelength band; calculating, by simulation, fluorescence intensities obtained in the excitation wavelength band and the fluorescence wavelength band on the basis of fluorescence fingerprint information containing fluorescence intensities in each excitation wavelength and each fluorescence wavelength acquired by fluorescence spectroscopy for continuously changing wavelengths in wide wavelength range in advance for a plurality of evaluation targets with known evaluation values; acquiring an estimation equation for estimating an evaluation value from the fluorescence intensities with the fluorescence intensities and the evaluation values set as variables; repeatedly executing calculation of the fluorescence intensities and acquisition of the estimation equation while resetting the combination of the excitation wavelength band and the fluorescence wavelength band, thereby obtaining appropriate estimation equations for finding the evaluation value of the evaluation target and determining the combination of the excitation wavelength band and the fluorescence wavelength band and the estimation equation that enable an optimum evaluation value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
